ConfidentialCDL-A Local Intermodal Driver – Fontana, CA Pay Details & Schedule Hourly Pay: $19.25 Stop Pay: $18.71 per stop Average Workload: Approximately 3–6 loads per day Home Daily Night schedules available: Sunday–Thursday, or Tuesday–Saturday Drivers generally use their full 11-hour driving time; shifts may extend to the full 14-hour on-duty window depending on freight demands 10-hour breaks between shifts Job Details Local intermodal container freight secured on chassis Routes across the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area, with some northbound trips through the Grapevine to the Shafter and Lebec areas Operations use multiple rail ramps in the greater Los Angeles area Mix of drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight Slip-seat operation: trucks are parked at the San Bernardino yard Automatic dispatch; drivers do not choose their routes Required northbound deliveries and pickups are part of the account Job Requirements Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience First-seat/experienced drivers Clean driving record Valid DOT Medical Card No SAP drivers Must be able to follow assigned routes and work the required night schedule
