Pay Average weekly earnings: $1,712–$1,904 $10,000 new hire bonus Schedule & Home Time Home daily Multiple schedule options are available Day / 2nd Shift Options Thursday–Monday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM start window Friday–Tuesday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM start window Wednesday–Sunday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM start window Overnight / 3rd Shift Option Tuesday–Saturday: 12:01 AM–3:00 AM start window Drivers can choose from currently available schedules Weekend availability depends on the schedule selected Christmas off Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day may require work Schedule availability may change as openings are filled What You’ll Do Haul local intermodal freight throughout the Harrisburg area Pick up and deliver freight moving in and out of the two Harrisburg-area rail yards Operate within approximately a 250-mile radius of Harrisburg, PA Complete approximately 2–5 loads per day Work with priority loading and unloading at Norfolk Southern rail yards Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain legal Hours of Service and follow dispatch schedules Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and equipment concerns Return the tractor to the Harrisburg terminal during time off No NYC driving Equipment Day cab tractors 53-foot trailers Manual and automatic trucks available Slip-seat operation Tractor remains at the terminal during time off Average truck age is approximately 2 years On-site maintenance available Driver Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 months of qualifying Class A driving experience Must be available for the selected schedule and start-time window Hazmat endorsement is not required at hire , but must be obtained within 60 days Approved Hazmat threat-assessment and fingerprinting expenses are reimbursed once the endorsement is added to the CDL Must be able to operate manual or automatic equipment unless restricted to automatic transmission Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage available after 30 days PTO accrues from day one 401(k) with company match 6 paid holidays Parental leave and family-planning benefits Life insurance options Mental health and disability benefits Pay: $1,712.00 - $1,904.00 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Paid orientation Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Experience: Tractor-trailer: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CDL A (Required) Hazmat Endorsement (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
