CDL-A Local Dedicated Flex Truck Driver

Want consistent work without running the exact same account every week? This CDL-A Dedicated Flex position gives experienced drivers the opportunity to cover several dedicated operations throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Drivers who remain available for the full workweek are guaranteed at least $1,300 per week . Assignments can change from week to week and may include local home-daily routes, regional runs, yard switching, or service-center work. Pay Minimum weekly guarantee: $1,300 when available for the full workweek Pay structure depends on the assignment; some work is hourly while other runs are paid by mileage Stop, detention, breakdown, layover, loading/unloading, and per diem pay may apply based on the account Schedule & Home Time Schedules and home time depend on the account being covered. Some assignments provide daily home time Other assignments may involve regional travel (Texas to Oklahoma runs) Many assignments provide most of the weekend at home Weekly mileage and working hours will change based on the account Yard-switching and service-center work may be included when needed Driver Responsibilities Cover different dedicated customer accounts throughout Texas and Oklahoma Handle the freight and operating requirements of each assigned account Complete local driving or regional runs Load, unload, or reposition freight when required Hook and unhook trailers Open and secure trailer doors Complete required pre-trip inspections Verify freight counts and complete fuel documentation Safely enter and exit tractors and trailers Maintain dependable attendance and availability Support other company operations when additional coverage is needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 80 lbs during loading or unloading Ability to move freight requiring up to 54 lbs of force Ability to operate trailer doors requiring up to 46 lbs of force Ability to hook and unhook trailers requiring up to 90 lbs of force Driver Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Must be at least 21 years old At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the previous 3 years Must live within 75 miles of the hiring location Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required Passport must be secured within 120 days of hire ; the application process may begin during the first 30 days Doubles endorsement and TWIC application must be started within 30 days and completed within 90 days of hire Eligible TWIC and Doubles endorsement costs are reimbursed with receipts Must be willing to obtain TSA certification for airport-related deliveries; qualifying costs are reimbursed Must be comfortable operating a yard tractor when assigned Must be able to adjust to different customers, freight, schedules, and types of work Driving Record Standards No reckless-driving convictions during the previous 5 years No DUI convictions during the previous 5 years No license suspensions or revocations during the previous 5 years No serious traffic violations during the previous 12 months No more than 3 moving violations during the previous 3 years No preventable DOT-recordable accidents during the previous 3 years Benefits 8 paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, and hearing coverage available after 30 days Individual health plans Family health plans Paid time off Profit-sharing contributions made to a retirement account Rider option for legally married spouses Referral bonus opportunities Opportunities to move into other driving or leadership positions Pay: $1,300.00 - $1,600.00 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid orientation Paid time off Paid training Pet rider program Referral program Vision insurance Application Question(s): This is primarily a local position, but some assignments may require travel into Oklahoma and would be paid at a higher regional rate.
