Why You'll Love This Job Home Daily: Return to the Indianapolis terminal after your shift. Consistent Schedule: Work Friday through Tuesday, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off. Night Shift: Start at 9:00 PM. No-Touch Freight: Approximately 75% drop-and-hook operations. Strong Earning Potential: Average annual earnings of $87,000, based on reported averages and not guaranteed pay. Job Responsibilities Operate a day cab with a 53-foot box trailer. Run daily routes between Indianapolis and Chicago, with additional local assignments. Complete intermodal and drop-and-hook operations. Report to the terminal for dispatch and truck assignments. Follow all DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and operating policies. Must be willing to obtain a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire; cost reimbursed once added to license. Available to work Friday through Tuesday, starting at 9:00 PM. Comfortable with overnight driving between Indianapolis and Chicago, plus local runs. Must reliably commute to the Indianapolis terminal for daily dispatch. Comfortable operating a day cab with a slip-seat arrangement (no permanently assigned truck). Able to handle intermodal, drop-and-hook, and no-touch freight. Must meet all applicable company hiring and safety requirements.
