CDL-A Flatbed Logistics Driver — 26-Foot Platform
TaldecoShape safe deliveries with Taldeco Taldeco is adding a CDL-A professional to operate 26' flatbed equipment, deliver materials to active job sites, and pitch in at the shop when routes are light. You must hold a Class A license with a valid DOT medical card and bring hands-on experience securing loads on 26' flatbeds. Expect local, same-day routes—nearly all deliveries are within 150 miles of our Sterling Heights shop, with no overnight travel. A day in the life You’ll start at our Sterling Heights location, complete pre-trip inspections on your truck and trailer, confirm paperwork, and oversee safe loading. Once the load is properly secured, you’ll head out to job sites, unload materials, document deliveries, and return to base. When there are no deliveries scheduled, you’ll assist in the shop—helping where needed and tackling light repairs to keep equipment road-ready. What you'll handle Secure and transport materials to multiple job sites using a 26' flatbed Load, unload, and supervise loading activities to ensure safe weight distribution Complete shipment documentation and all required delivery paperwork Inspect vehicles and trailers; perform minor repairs when needed Support shop operations when routes are not scheduled Take on other duties as assigned What you bring Class A CDL with a current DOT medical card Proven experience operating and load-securing on 26' flatbeds Clean, reliable driving record Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with basic repairs Your know-how Maintaining a valid DOT Medical Card Holding and maintaining a valid driver's license Safe loading and unloading of vehicles Truck operations and professional load securement Active, current CDL license DOT and equipment inspection compliance (pre-/post-trip) Travel & schedule Home daily. Nearly all deliveries are within 150 miles of Sterling Heights. No overnight travel.
