CDL-A Flatbed Driver 28/Hour, 1,4001,750/Week

We are hiring dependable CDL-A flatbed drivers to haul finished parts from vendors throughout PA, OH, MD, and DE. The freight is no-touch at the shipper and consignee, but drivers are responsible for properly securing the loads. Chaining and strapping are required for flatbed operations, so applicants must be physically capable of performing load securement safely and consistently. Pay and earnings $28 per hour. Approximately $1,400–$1,750 average gross pay per week. Approximately 750–1,500 miles per week. Additional pay for chaining and strapping. Actual weekly earnings may vary based on miles, hours, loads, and securement work. Freight and operating area Finished parts from vendors. Primary operating area: PA, OH, MD, DE. No-touch freight at the shipper and consignee. Driver must chain and strap loads before transport. Mostly curtain-side flatbed loads. Some straight-flatbed work during the summer. Equipment and parking Mostly curtain-side flatbeds. Some straight flatbeds, primarily during summer. A few dry vans. Onsite parking available for most drivers. Brookville-area drivers must have access to secured parking. Drivers may be hired from locations along the route when secured parking is available. Requirements Valid CDL-A. Minimum of three months of solo driving experience. Ability to safely chain and strap flatbed loads. Physical ability to perform load-securement duties. Ability to follow load-securement procedures and company safety standards.
