CDL A Dump Truck Driver

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an CDL A Construction Driver and take pride in delivering essential materials to keep projects moving forward! In this energetic role, you will operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including dump trucks and concrete mixers, to transport asphalt, concrete, and other construction materials across various job sites. Your expertise will help ensure timely deliveries, safe operations, and smooth project execution. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, concrete mixers, and other heavy equipment required for asphalt and concrete delivery. Transport asphalt, concrete, rebar, and other construction materials to designated sites efficiently and on schedule. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Assist with loading and unloading materials using mechanical knowledge of loaders, excavators, or concrete pumps when necessary. Support paving operations by coordinating with crew members for precise material placement and finishing tasks. Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and communicate effectively with project managers regarding delivery status or issues. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, construction site procedures, and environmental regulations to promote a safe work environment. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or concrete pumps on construction sites. Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, including dump trucks and cement mixers. Familiarity with paving processes, concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques. Mechanical aptitude for performing routine maintenance checks on trucks and related equipment. Ability to navigate construction sites safely while coordinating with team members for material handling. Construction site experience demonstrating understanding of safety standards and operational procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with crew members and project managers.
