Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor-trailer with a manual transmission, primarily hauling dry van freight across regional or long-haul routes Load and unload freight efficiently using proper techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and securing equipment Follow designated routes, adhering to schedules while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Manage documentation such as delivery manifests, bills of lading, and logbooks accurately and promptly Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips Assist with occasional deliveries requiring specialized equipment such as refrigerated trailers or flatbed configurations when necessary Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with delivery driver experience involving freight handling Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably and confidently Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment is a plus Knowledge of load securing techniques for different types of freight including roll-off trucks or dump trucks when applicable Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or other equipment if required Strong understanding of route driving best practices and safety protocols Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform load securement tasks We’re looking for motivated drivers eager to showcase their skills in commercial driving while contributing to a reliable logistics operation.
