CDL-A Dry Van Driver - Home Daily

Benefits: Health insurance Vision insurance 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Status Logistics is hiring an experienced CDL-A Dry Van Driver for consistent local and regional freight based in the DFW area. We have been in business for 25 years and are looking for a dependable driver to join our established team. This position includes local DFW work as well as same-day runs to Western Louisiana and/or Oklahoma City. Drivers return home after each trip — no overnight stays or OTR work. Pay Structure Fixed trip rate for Western Louisiana runs plus (Hourly while un/loading) Hourly pay for local loading, unloading, and local driving Additional pay details will be discussed during the interview Responsibilities Operate a tractor-trailer pulling a dry van Pick up and deliver freight safely and on time Complete local DFW deliveries and day trips to Western Louisiana and Oklahoma City Return home after each scheduled run Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate ELD logs and paperwork Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and load status Safely maneuver into customer facilities, docks, and shipping/receiving areas Represent Status Logistics professionally with customers Requirements Valid CDL-A Minimum 3 years of CDL-A driving experience preferred Dry van experience preferred Good driving record Strong understanding of DOT regulations Comfortable using an ELD Dependable and punctual Good communication skills Comfortable completing longer same-day runs to Western Louisiana and Oklahoma City Must meet all DOT driver qualification requirements What We Offer Home every night Monday–Friday approximately 90% of the time Occasional weekend work may be available during high-volume periods Consistent freight Local DFW work plus regional day trips Fixed-rate Louisiana runs with hourly pay for local loading/unloading work Steady work with a company that has been in business for 25 years Hiring Process Qualified applicants will be contacted for an in-person interview.
