CDL A Driver - Regional/ local Texas only

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated CDL A Driver to join our regional team operating exclusively within Texas. Routs are houston, San Antonio and Dallas. Home every day/other day and no work on weekends. This role involves transporting 53 foot flatbed loads across various locations within the state, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of driving experience, clean MVR, possess a TWIC card, and be comfortable handling manual transmission vehicles. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking to specialize in regional freight with a focus on flatbed operations. Duties Safely operate a manual transmission flatbed truck within the Texas region, adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations. Transport flatbed loads efficiently between designated locations across Texas, ensuring timely deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety and compliance standards. Secure and tarp loads properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo details in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Minimum of two years of professional driving experience, preferably with flatbed loads. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably. Possession of a TWIC card is required for this role. Strong knowledge of Texas roads and regional transportation routes. Excellent safety awareness and adherence to DOT regulations. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently within a regional setting.
