Job Info Job Location: Port Wentworth, Georgia Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Dedicated Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 2+ years Handling: No-touch freight Additional Information CDL A Truck Driver | Port Wentworth, GA | $27/Hour + Benefits | TWIC & Manual Ideal TransForce is hiring full-time Local CDL A drivers in Port Wentworth, GA . This position offers $27 per hour , consistent work, and excellent benefits . Home time varies based on customer demand. Many runs return the same day; however, drivers must be available for regional routes and occasional overnight trips. Job Details: Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5 AM - 7 AM start time (Saturday work required as needed) Freight: No-touch freight Equipment: Manual transmission required HOWEVER there are automatic trucks now. Route:: Primarily local and extended drayage routes. Drivers must be willing to run regional routes throughout Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, and surrounding areas as needed. Occasional overnight and OTR runs may be required based on operational needs. 8 to 10 hours a day and rotating Saturdays.
