Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. Kankakee drivers can start on a Midwest regional fleet that runs Monday to Saturday and gets drivers home every weekend. How You Start Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads Paid every week during training Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving The Job Dry van freight in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky 1,600 to 2,000 miles per week Home every weekend Drop and hook, live loads, live unloads and preloads Pay Average weekly earnings of $1,000 to $1,700 $40 extra on loads under 150 miles, $25 on loads of 151 to 250 miles $15 stop pay for each stop except first and last Benefits Medical, dental and vision after 30 days 401k with company match Paid time off $300 orientation pay, travel to orientation covered Two Ways to Start CDL-A in hand, no experience: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
