CDL A Driver / Laborer
R & R Integrated Solutions.Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL A Driver / Laborer to support field operations by transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites while assisting field crews with day-to-day labor activities. This is a hands-on position that combines professional driving responsibilities with general field labor. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, supporting construction-related activities, and contributing to a safe and efficient jobsite. Key Responsibilities Operate Class A CDL vehicles to safely transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from jobsites. Assist with general labor duties, including site preparation, trenching, cleanup, and equipment staging. Perform daily inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure safe and reliable operation. Load and unload equipment and ensure loads are properly secured in accordance with DOT requirements. Provide ground assistance and support to equipment operators and field crews. Follow all company, DOT, and jobsite safety procedures. Maintain accurate driving logs and required documentation. Assist with basic vehicle and equipment maintenance. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to perform physical labor and general field duties. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely load, unload, stage, and secure equipment and materials. Willingness to work overtime or travel when required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining an effective member of the field team. Commitment to following safe work practices at all times. Experience Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record required. Experience in construction, utilities, telecommunications, or a similar field is preferred. Experience hauling equipment such as trenchers, skid steers, or mini-excavators is preferred. Current DOT Medical Certificate preferred. OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain it. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a field environment.
