CDL A Driver – Heavy-Duty Towing & Equipment Transport

BM Transportation & Towing LLC is looking for a dependable Full-Time Class A CDL Driver for heavy-duty towing, recovery, and equipment transport. With nearly two decades of experience serving the Columbus area, BM Towing provides reliable towing and recovery services with a focus on safety, professionalism, and quality customer service. A valid Class A CDL and minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience are required. Heavy-duty towing, recovery, or equipment transport experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right experienced CDL-A driver. Responsibilities Operate heavy-duty tow trucks and recovery equipment Operate sliding axle trailers and other specialized transport equipmen t Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles, machinery, and equipment Respond to towing, recovery, and roadside service calls Assist with accident response and vehicle recovery Communicate with Dispatch throughout each call Complete required paperwork and electronic documentation Maintain assigned truck and equipment Provide professional customer service Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements Requirements Valid Class A CDL with no E restriction (manual transmission) required Minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience required 21+ years old Clean MVR Must pass a drug screen per DOT/FMCSA requirements Must meet applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements Heavy-duty towing, recovery, heavy-haul, or equipment transport experience preferred Experience with sliding axles or specialized transport equipment preferred Dependable with good attendance Professional attitude and strong work ethic Maintain a clean, presentable appearance Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and repeatedly enter/exit vehicles Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
