CDL A Driver

W.P. Davis Excavation is hiring a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver / Construction Laborer who enjoys driving and hands-on construction work. You’ll safely transport equipment and materials, load and secure cargo, complete vehicle inspections and paperwork, and support our field crews with digging, grading, pipe installation, backfilling, and cleanup. This is not a driving-only position —we’re looking for someone ready to get out of the truck and work alongside the crew. Candidates must have a valid CDL with the appropriate classification and endorsements, a current DOT medical card, and knowledge of safe driving, load securement, and DOT requirements. Reliable attendance, a team-first attitude, willingness to perform physical work, and commitment to jobsite safety are essential. Construction, excavation, utility, or equipment-hauling experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to pass required screenings.
