This role also requires maintaining maintenance and safety standards while providing world-class customer service while on delivery sites. Requirements As a CDL Driver, your role supports day-to-day operations in a fast-paced wholesale environment serving contractors and industry professionals. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Delivery and Transportation Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers. Customer job site and warehouse delivery Vehicle Maintenance & Safety Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections for mechanical items and safety issues Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles Comply with CDL rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents, or violations Customer Service Communicate effectively with team members to fulfill orders and resolve issues Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with customers on deliveries What we are looking for… Proven work experience as a CDL Driver Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.) Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations Valid CDL license Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment Strong customer service skills Moffit & forklift experience is a plus Benefits Why Join Ewing?
