ConfidentialPaid Training Leads Into a Michigan-Based Dry Van Driving Position You already completed CDL school and earned your Class A license. This position gives qualified newer drivers a paid path into professional driving, followed by a solo dry van position serving freight that originates in Michigan and works back toward the state. WHAT YOU CAN EARN $1,200-$1,500 average weekly earnings after training Approximately 1,500-2,100 miles per week OTR mileage pay scale $25 short-haul pay $15 stop pay Driver performance bonus opportunity FROM CDL SCHOOL TO THE DRIVER'S SEAT Paid road training lasts approximately 3-5 weeks and includes 200-250 behind-the-wheel hours with an experienced driver. Michigan trainee pay is $900 per week. Orientation is no more than two days, and the $300 orientation payment is paid upon hire. HOW THE FREIGHT RUNS The first load moves outbound from Michigan. From the delivery area, freight is worked back toward Michigan for the next load, so routes can vary rather than running the same direct lane every trip. Dry van freight Drop-and-hook moves Preloaded trailers Live loading and unloading Day and night operation Weekend work based on freight needs HOME TIME This operation is structured around home time every two weeks with 34-hour resets.
