Drivers operate commercial motor vehicles on assigned routes, make deliveries and pickups at school sites, warehouses, and other customer locations, and provide professional service at every stop. This is a hands-on, touch-freight position . Successful drivers are safety-minded, dependable, customer-focused, comfortable with physical work, and able to manage their routes efficiently while meeting all DOT and company requirements. What You'll Do Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with all federal, state, local, DOT, and company requirements. Complete assigned delivery and pickup routes safely, accurately, and on schedule. Load, unload, and properly secure products and cargo. Perform touch-freight deliveries at customer locations. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Identify and report mechanical, equipment, or safety concerns promptly. Maintain accurate driving records and Hours of Service documentation using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD). Follow assigned routes, maps, delivery instructions, and customer-specific requirements. Maintain regular communication with Transportation management and Dispatch regarding route status, delays, customer concerns, accidents, injuries, or other issues. Follow all company safety procedures and safe-driving practices. Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers, teammates, school personnel, and the public. Protect company equipment and customer products from damage. Maintain cleanliness and general condition of assigned equipment. Follow all applicable DOT/FMCSA regulations and company transportation policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A). Current and valid DOT Medical Certificate, as applicable. Minimum one year of Class A commercial driving experience. Ability to provide required 10-year driving/employment history in accordance with DOT and company requirements. Must meet company Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards.
