Position Summary Muller, Inc. is seeking a dependable and customer-focused CDL A Delivery Driver / Warehouseman to join our team in Northeast Philadelphia. The Delivery Driver / Warehouseman is responsible for safely operating company delivery vehicles over established routes, delivering and picking up products, providing professional customer service, collecting payments when required, and handling product in accordance with company standards. This position requires compliance with all applicable DOT regulations, traffic laws, company safety requirements, and established work rules. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, physically capable of handling product, and able to establish positive working relationships with customers, supervisors, and coworkers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate company delivery vehicles over established routes to deliver and pick up products. Deliver products to customers' places of business in a professional and timely manner. Unload products and place them in designated areas within the customer's establishment. Rotate product according to company standards and customer requirements. Accurately calculate credits and collect proper payment when required. Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times. Address customer questions and complaints within the scope of the position and promptly involve a supervisor, manager, sales representative, or Customer Service Department when necessary. Utilize company-provided equipment and technology, including delivery handheld devices. Safely handle and transport products, including kegs and cases, in a variety of delivery environments such as steps, ramps, curbs, and other access areas. Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle cab and delivery equipment. Properly complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Immediately report safety-sensitive conditions, vehicle issues, accidents, injuries, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor, manager, or mechanic. Comply with all applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Abide by all traffic laws and company driving policies. Wear a seatbelt at all times while operating or riding in a company vehicle. At times, provide direction and assistance to delivery helpers. Complete required paperwork, delivery documentation, and other records accurately and timely. Maintain an effective working relationship with supervisors, employees, coworkers, customers, and the general public. Perform warehouse or other related duties as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements Must possess a valid CDL Class A driver's license . Must possess a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate . Must maintain a driver's license and driving record in good standing. Must comply with all applicable DOT requirements. Prior delivery, route driving, warehouse, beverage distribution, or customer service experience preferred. Forklift and/or walkie-rider experience is a plus. Knowledge of Philadelphia and surrounding counties is preferred. Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and company policies. Must be able to accurately complete required paperwork and documentation. Must possess basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management. Must demonstrate good judgment and the ability to follow directions and established procedures.
