The pay is high because the freight is hands-on — you unload at the stores — and the miles are short, so you're home weekly for your 34-hour reset. If you've got customer-service sense and don't mind touch freight, this seat pays like few others. Freight is 100% driver-unload, box by box on rollers, a minimum of 3 loads a week, with 1 to 6 stops per trailer. Runs can include nights, weekends and holidays as they fall, and you're home weekly for your reset. Your truck A 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth, assigned, with 24/7 dispatch.
