Average employee tenure is 15 years per employee across 30 branches in the US Schedule: Monday through Friday 3:00am to 12:00pm ET or until completion of daily route Time and a half after 40 hours Route: Starting point: Würth Baer Supply Company, 70 Pawtucket Ave, Rumford, RI 02916 Destination: Northeastern Industrial Park, 2 Van Buren Blvd, Guilderland Center, NY 12085 Approximately 180 miles one way Approximately 360 miles round trip Additional stop may be added as needed Compensation: The starting pay rate for this role is $28.00 to $32.00/HR based on experience. Please do not apply if a number in this range doesn't meet your needs BIWEEKLY PAY $2000 Performance Bonus: $1000 after 90 days (3 months) and $1000 after 180 days (6 months) Paid for drivers in good standing with the company Consistent on-time arrival to work, good attendance, good attitude, work safety, and work quality are all factored into the evaluation of being in good standing Truck Types: You will drive a 30 to 36-foot pup tractor trailer or 48 to 53-foot tractor trailer with a Conestoga-style configuration (curtain side) Any of these types and lengths may be used for this role Duties: Load and unload truck with sit-down propane forklift at the facility before departure. The orders will already be picked and staged. MUST HAVE FORKLIFT EXPEREINCE. If you are looking for a “no-touch” role, this is not a good fit. We need someone who is very comfortable going hands-on with the materials as that is part of the job. From a safety standpoint, you must be comfortable lifting up to 70lbs unassisted. You will mainly be loading sheet goods such as plywood and laminate products from 8 to 12 feet in length and 4 to 5 feet in width. Your customers will unload the goods with a forklift at their facility, but you must be prepared for all-weather load tie-downs and securement Provide excellent customer service and communicate as needed with management pertaining to customer questions and concerns Utilize Samsara Electronic Logging Device (ELD) on company cell phone to perform pre-trip inspections and demonstrate DOT-compliant on-duty status, etc. in lieu of paper logs.
