ConfidentialJob Summary As a CDL-A Car Hauler Driver, you’ll transport automobiles safely and efficiently using a tractor-trailer. You’ll plan routes, secure vehicles, and complete deliveries while following applicable transportation and safety requirements. This role may include over-the-road (OTR) driving and handling different cargo types as assigned. Duties Load and unload vehicles, secure cargo, and inspect equipment before, during, and after trips. Drive assigned routes using GPS navigation; complete delivery driving and route driving tasks on schedule. Transport automobiles and freight, including logistics cargo handling and manual handling as needed. Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Your impact: Careful vehicle securement and safe driving help protect transported vehicles and support reliable deliveries for customers. Skills Required: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A and safe commercial truck driving, truck driving, and commercial driving skills, including tractor-trailer operation. Required: Ability to drive a manual transmission and perform truck loading and unloading. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, automobile transportation, OTR routes, and familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed, or tanker equipment. Preferred: Knowledge of hazmat (hazardous materials), dangerous goods, and related regulations where applicable.
