CDL-A Auto Parts Driver Solo/Team Flex 1,400 - 1,800/Week

We are hiring CDL-A Dedicated Solo/Team Flex Drivers based within 30 miles of Alpharetta, GA. Flex drivers cover routes for assigned drivers who are out due to illness, vacation, or other scheduled absences. Drivers must be comfortable changing routes and schedules based on account needs. Approximately 90% of the work is team driving. Drivers deliver aftermarket automotive parts; including hoods, bumpers, doors, cages, totes, and loose packaged pieces to dealerships throughout the Southeast. Pay and home time Average weekly pay: $1,400 - $1,800 Solo drivers: home daily Team drivers: home weekly Workweek: Monday through Saturday Start times vary by route and may fall between 10:00 PM and 4:00 PM Most routes operate at night While on team routes, each driver takes their daily 10-hour break in the truck and does not return home daily Operating area GA, AL, MS, TN, FL, NC, SC Miles and stops Solo; Approximately 1,800 miles, Approximately 6 stops per day and 5 days per week, Home daily Team; Approximately 3,950 miles, Approximately 7 stops per day and 5 days per week, Home weekly What you will do Deliver aftermarket automotive parts to dealership locations Position and secure delivery roller cages Load and unload cages, totes, and loose boxed automotive parts Lift boxed parts from the trailer floor and overhead trailer attic Move freight on and off the trailer and into dealership delivery areas Scan newly delivered freight and collect return items Access and secure dealership gates and doors during unattended nighttime deliveries Maneuver a tractor-trailer through tight dealership parking lots and confined corridors Equipment and freight 2020 - 2022 Freightliner and International tractors Automatic transmission 28 foot and 48 foot dry van trailers with liftgates PrePass and E-ZPass provided Freight includes cages, totes, and loose packaged automotive parts Driver unload and touch freight Dedicated parking space at the Honda customer location Driver requirements Valid Class A CDL Minimum 12 months of recent tractor trailer experience At least 3 months of verifiable team driving experience within the past 3 years Must live within 30 miles of Alpharetta, GA Must be willing to operate both solo and team routes Must understand that approximately 90% of the work will involve team driving Comfortable with daytime and nighttime driving; most routes run at night Able to perform tight backing and maneuvering at dealership locations Able to lift and handle freight weighing approximately 40 - 75 lbs
