Catering Delivery Driver

Salt & Palm Catering is a premier corporate catering company. We operate Monday - Friday for both breakfast and lunch. We prepare our delicious food in a shared commercial kitchen and do drop off catering to local businesses. We pride ourselves in having high quality food, at a valued price, delivered by professional positive staff members. Our business is growing rapidly and it is time to expand our team with a Catering Deliver Driver. There is opportunity for growth in this position as we look to add new locations and are looking for team members that are business savvy and open to helping us scale and expand. Job Summary and Requirements: Comfortable delivering in the downtown area and communicating with business clients Quickly and efficiently setting up catering orders in the clients work place Expert at using Google Maps and multitasking in a fast paced environment Manual dexterity being able to operate cutting tools, kitchen utensils and equipment Must be able to prioritize and organize the workload to effectively produce high quality products in a timely manner to ensure on time deliveries Clean as you go ( maintain work area, run dishes through dish water, return items to proper storage areas ) Prepare cold food items for orders ( sandwiches, salads, fruit, desserts ) Wrap & box prepared items for delivery Good physical condition & endurance ( able to lift up to 50lbs ) Must Have: High energy and a positive (can-do) attitude A happy, outgoing personality Open to client facing sales and marketing activities Open to constructive feedback and coaching Working knowledge of commercial kitchen & food prep Current Servsafe certification Great driving record & insured 2 professional references 2 personal references We will not tolerate: Negative attitudes Tardy for work Excessive call outs Late deliveries Poor communication Job Perks: Holidays off Weekends off Nights off Paychecks every Monday Competitive wages Shift meal Opportunities for sales/marketing based commissions/bonus Thank you and we look forward to reviewing your application!
