Category Support Analyst

Overview: As a Category Support Analyst, you’ll support the day-to-day operations and growth of the ICI Foods' team. This role provides procurement and sales support across assigned food ingredient categories, including maintaining vendor data, tracking pricing and samples, and keeping the team organized and responsive. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to build a foundation in procurement and category management. Responsibilities: Category & Vendor Support Manage vendor contract maintenance, including sales status updates and year-over-year comparisons. Input vendor price lists in SAP. Help organize and maintain accurate supplier information (e.g., update supplier information cards). Maintain the quotes and opportunities and manage the sample process. Assist in completing and inputting New Item Information Forms as needed. Assist in gathering documentation from vendors as needed. Contracting & Order Support Review daily purchase orders to ensure pricing accuracy. Run reports from SAP into Excel as needed. Assist Managers in capturing market intelligence to help communicate to the sales team. Sales & Internal Liaison File, pull, and send documents within network drives and SAP for the sales team. Coordinate with the marketing department on materials needed for CRM email blasts. Compile information for sales team members as requested. Coordinate intercompany communication to ensure order pricing accuracy. Analysis & Reporting Help Managers compile product materials and information for continued education. Support Managers with data and reporting needs as assigned. Required and Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in purchasing, sales support, or a related field (relevant internships count) is required. A Bachelors degree is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Food or supply chain industry experience preferred. Familiarity with SAP and is knowledge of CRM (e.g., Salesforce) strongly preferred.
