Category Sourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities Category Strategy: Build and execute long-term sourcing roadmaps aligned with business goals and total-cost-of-ownership (TCO) targets. Supplier Negotiations: Lead contract lifecycles, competitive bidding (RFx events), and e-auctions to secure favorable pricing and terms. Risk & Performance Management: Track supplier KPIs (on-time delivery, quality, capacity) and mitigate supply chain disruptions through alternative sourcing. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, R&D, and quality teams to support new product development and value-engineering (VAVE) initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering. Experience: 4+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Technical Tools: Proficiency in ERP and e-sourcing platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Jaggaer) and spend analytics.
