Category Manager Sr

Here's the Role: LCRA is looking for a Category Manager Sr. to join our Construction Delivery Team in Supply Chain. As a part of the Construction Delivery Team, you will serve as the single point of contact for Supply Chain from planning and design to final completion of construction using your expertise to recommend appropriate project delivery methods, source suppliers, and administer contracts. Our ideal candidate is someone with in-depth knowledge of the construction procurement and alternative project delivery methods. How You’ll Contribute: Perform advanced market analysis and industry intelligence research. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. Identify and execute sourcing strategies for assigned projects. Drives supplier performance and improvement How You’re Qualified: Nine or more years of experience in procurement, vendor management or project management or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in business, supply management, finance, economics or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience. How You’ll Stand Out: Experience in construction, engineering, or services procurement. Strong analytical skills to determine the best sourcing options.
