Work Type: Hydrid Shift Timings: 8AM – 5PM Responsibilities: Develop and implement category sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk mitigation activities. Lead RFQs, negotiations, contracting, and cost-reduction initiatives. Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and logistics teams to support sourcing decisions. Analyze market trends, supplier capacity, and industry developments. Support new product introductions and supplier onboarding activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, sustainability requirements, and supplier standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable savings. Knowledge/Education: 5+ years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree mechanical engineering. Intermediate Excel experience. Demonstrated experience sourcing and managing suppliers with strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality requirements and supply chain risks. Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier management skills. Experience with ERP systems and sourcing tools. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Ability to manage cross-functional projects in a global environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skills and Abilities: Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented approach. Legal and contract review skills. Strategic sourcing and category planning. Data-driven decision-making abilities. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
