Catalog Analyst

Catalog Analyst Miami, FL Direct Hire TempExperts is seeking a detail-oriented Catalog Analyst to support parts research, pricing analysis, and vendor sourcing for a growing operation. This role involves researching technical product information, evaluating supplier pricing, maintaining accurate catalog data, and identifying opportunities to improve purchasing costs. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, proficient in Excel, and comfortable managing independent research projects in a computer-focused environment. Experience with automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or industrial parts is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Research parts, specifications, product numbers, and compatible alternatives. Identify suppliers and obtain pricing, availability, and delivery information. Evaluate vendor quotes and prepare pricing comparisons. Maintain accurate product, supplier, and pricing records. Use spreadsheets and databases to organize information and identify discrepancies or cost-saving opportunities. Develop reports and tracking tools to support purchasing decisions. Communicate with vendors to verify product details and resolve information gaps. Use available technology and research tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. Requirements: Experience in purchasing, procurement, parts research, inventory analysis, or data analysis. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills , including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data comparisons. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to interpret technical product information and cross-reference parts accurately. Comfortable working independently with large amounts of detailed information. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Background with diesel, automotive, heavy-duty truck, or industrial equipment parts. Experience using electronic parts catalogs or product databases. Vendor sourcing, pricing analysis, or purchasing experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Query, or other AI-assisted research and data tools.
