Casual / On-Call Truck Transfer Drivers – DZ or Equivalent

Job Overview We are seeking energetic and reliable Casual / On-Call Truck Transfer Drivers holding a DZ license or equivalent to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transferring freight and freight-related equipment between locations, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. This position offers flexible scheduling, perfect for individuals seeking part-time or on-call work with a focus on heavy-duty vehicle operation. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth flow of our logistics operations, supporting our commitment to excellence in freight handling and customer service. Duties Safely transfer commercial vehicles between customer locations. Operate various types of trucks, including straight trucks, dump trucks, garbage trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Complete required trip paperwork accurately. Maintain communication with dispatch. Follow all MTO regulations and company safety policies. Represent the company professionally at all customer locations. Qualifications Valid Ontario Class A, B, C or D driver's licence with Air Brakes. Clean driver's abstract and good driving record. Experience operating various commercial vehicles. Reliable transportation to designated pickup locations. Flexible availability, including occasional short-notice assignments. Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. What We Offer $23.00 per hour. Flexible, casual scheduling. Local and occasional long-distance assignments.
