Cashier/Stocker

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Stocker, where you'll play a vital role in creating a seamless shopping experience for our customers while ensuring the store remains well-stocked and organized. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, and process transactions accurately at the cashier station using POS systems. Operate various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and organize stock safely and efficiently. Stock bin tables, produce displays, and merchandise products according to store standards, ensuring items are accessible and visually appealing. Conduct inventory control activities including stock counts, cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems to maintain accuracy. Handle shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading shipments, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, and maintaining organized storage areas. Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, and warehouse areas by performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. Provide excellent customer service by addressing shopper questions, assisting with product location, and supporting a positive shopping environment. Qualifications Previous retail store experience or warehouse operations experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, and basic math skills for stock counting and sales transactions. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools safely. Strong organizational skills with an eye for merchandising details and store presentation standards. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and safe lifting practices throughout the shift.
