Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and cash drawer management. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product demos to enhance their shopping experience. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly displayed according to merchandising standards. Assist customers with product knowledge, upselling opportunities, and guiding them through their purchase decisions to maximize sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all retail store product knowledge is up-to-date for effective customer assistance. Handle incoming phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating strong phone etiquette while directing calls or providing information as needed. Support inventory management by conducting stock replenishment and participating in periodic stock counts. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and clearly. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and performing retail math calculations accurately. Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
