Job description Haxton's Kent Liquors is a family-owned wine and spirits store in Warwick, Rhode Island. We are looking for cashier/ stock associate to join our retail team and report to Store Manager and Assistant Manager. Responsibilities As a member of the Retail team, you will play an essential role in the customer service experience. Day to day tasks including but not limited to ringing register, receiving trucks, unloading and moving cases using a hand truck, bringing up cases from basement, stocking shelves and coolers, setting up displays, helping customers find product and making recommendations, maintaining a clean environment including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, etc. Educating yourself and team members on product, host tastings, and ad hoc responsibilities. Key holder responsibilities when needed. Qualifications Preferred experience using a hand truck and moving cases Availability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including nights, days, weekends, and holidays Must be able to lift and consistently move 45 lbs (a case of liquor/wine) Must be able to perform long hours on their feet and frequently climb stairs Must have reliable transportation Strong interpersonal skills and engaging positive attitude Team player spirit Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Work Location: In person
