Cashier/Sales Associate

Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your customer-focused mindset will drive positive shopping experiences! In this role, you will be the friendly face that assists customers with their purchases, manages sales transactions efficiently, and promotes our products. Your retail knowledge will help create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate the cash register accurately, handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a balanced cash drawer Assist customers with product inquiries, offer product demos, and suggest upselling opportunities to maximize sales Maintain an organized sales floor by stocking shelves, merchandising products, and ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked Process retail sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while adhering to phone etiquette when assisting via phone or in person Support inventory management by conducting stock checks and assisting with inventory replenishment Engage in basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, or promotions to ensure accuracy in all sales activities Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills; bilingual ability is a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and pricing adjustments Experience supervising or leading small teams is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership skills help in supporting team efforts Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
