Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Manage cash register operations including cash drawer handling, balancing registers, and processing payments efficiently Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized product presentation Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and inventory counts Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Provide knowledgeable assistance on store products, including retail store product knowledge and grocery store experience if applicable Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; grocery store experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math for retail math calculations Demonstrated ability to handle cash drawer handling accurately and perform retail sales transactions efficiently Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform merchandising tasks and stock replenishment with attention to detail Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to address inquiries professionally Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where your energy fuels positive customer interactions!
