Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities. Maintain well-stocked shelves through merchandising and stocking efforts to ensure attractive displays and product availability. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, maintaining professionalism at all times. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, organizing merchandise, and supporting stock replenishment activities. Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales potential while delivering outstanding customer service. Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar fast-paced environments. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus for supporting team efforts. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cashiering and retail math tasks. Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, and stock management enhances effectiveness in this role. Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices ensures professional interactions at all times.
