Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately handling retail sales transactions and cash handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling techniques. Manage stock levels by assisting with stocking shelves and merchandising products to maximize visual appeal. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and adherence to cash register operations. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems proficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges while ensuring accuracy. Demonstrate strong communication skills by engaging with bilingual customers and maintaining professional phone etiquette when needed. Support store goals by promoting sales initiatives and participating in merchandising efforts to enhance store presentation. Assist in inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts, especially in grocery or retail environments. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is required. Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership development opportunities. Experience conducting product demos or upselling can significantly boost customer engagement and sales performance. Bilingual skills are highly valued to better serve diverse customer bases. Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail store product knowledge enhances your ability to assist customers effectively. Strong basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing cash drawers confidently. Excellent communication skills combined with phone etiquette ensure professional interactions with customers and team members alike. This is an Outdoor Farm Fall Festival Park.
