Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process retail sales transactions and handle cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product features and benefits. Conduct engaging product demos to showcase merchandise and promote upselling opportunities that enhance the customer’s experience. Maintain an organized sales floor by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible. Manage cash drawer handling with accountability, balancing registers at shift end while adhering to cash handling policies. Assist in inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and cycle counts to ensure product availability. Demonstrate strong communication skills by effectively engaging with customers and team members, including bilingual support when needed. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities. Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions and change handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash register operations. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions at all times. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory procedures. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining a tidy sales environment. Bilingual abilities are advantageous to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
