Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and retail math calculations Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of merchandise, encouraging upselling opportunities Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining visual merchandising standards Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and inventory counts Educate customers on store products and promotions to enhance their shopping experience Supervise or assist new team members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations required Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse clientele effectively Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly customer interactions and clear instructions Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers confidently Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies is advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
