Cashier/Sales Associate

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math to balance registers at shift’s end Assist with inventory management by stocking new merchandise and conducting stock counts Communicate effectively with team members and customers using phone etiquette and clear language Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering procedures Prior supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities on the sales floor Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and active listening Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments preferred Knowledge of merchandising, stock replenishment, and product demonstrations Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally Demonstrated upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities Basic understanding of retail operations including cashiering, cash handling, and store policies This role offers a vibrant environment where your proactive approach and passion for retail will shine.
