Cashier/Sales Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail sales processes, cash register operations, and product knowledge to assist customers effectively. Duties Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately during retail sales transactions Handle cash drawers with responsibility, ensuring proper cash management and reconciliation Assist customers with their purchases, providing friendly and professional customer service Maintain knowledge of store products to answer customer inquiries and promote sales Perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays to enhance store presentation Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization Conduct basic math calculations to ensure transaction accuracy and proper change handling Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment by assisting with general store upkeep Skills Strong proficiency in cash register operations and handling cash transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Good knowledge of retail products and the ability to communicate product information effectively Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and cash handling Attention to detail in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining store presentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment Reliable, responsible, and punctual with a positive attitude toward teamwork This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to gain experience in retail sales while delivering exceptional customer service.
