Cashier/Sales Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Sales Assistant to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product inquiries and demonstrations. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience in retail or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support sales goals. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions Manage cashier duties including processing payments, issuing receipts, and balancing registers Conduct product demos and provide detailed information about merchandise to promote sales Upsell products and services to meet sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain merchandising standards and organize products on the sales floor Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Assist in organizing the sales floor for optimal presentation and accessibility Support inventory management through stock replenishment and product organization Ensure a positive shopping experience by demonstrating excellent communication skills and time management Skills Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales preferred Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform product demonstrations and upsell effectively Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Phone etiquette skills for professional communication with customers over the phone Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Pay: $19.60-$28.94 per hour Benefits: Discounted or free food On-site parking Store discount Application question(s): * Please provide your email address for further communication.
