Duties Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions Handle cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments with precision and integrity Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is neat and organized Assist customers with questions about store products, store policies, or locating items Maintain a clean and welcoming checkout area while adhering to phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone Support inventory management by handling cash drawer balancing and cash handling procedures Conduct product knowledge sharing and merchandising to promote featured items effectively Supervise or assist new team members in cashiering duties when needed Help cooks if needed. Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering operations in a retail setting Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service in bilingual environments if applicable Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail environment Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock replenishment techniques Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with customers or vendors Skills in upselling, suggestive selling, and product demos to maximize sales opportunities Familiarity with cash register operations, cash drawer handling, and cash handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
