Cashier Expediter

Overview Join our dynamic team at our Italian Pizza Shop as a Cashier Expediter, where your energetic approach and keen organizational skills . You will be the face of the front of the house operations customer interaction , high energy ,say yes attitude needed . will keep our food service operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you will act as the crucial link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that orders are prepared, coordinated, and delivered efficiently to delight our guests. Your positive attitude and excellent communication will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must be fluent in English have a way to get to work every shift . must be available nights and weekends and some holidays. shifts will generally be from 3pm-8/9pm no super late nights Duties Coordinate between kitchen staff and front-of-house team to expedite food orders promptly and accurately Communicate effectively with cooks, servers, and management to ensure smooth order flow Monitor food preparation progress and prioritize orders based on timing and guest needs Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to uphold quality standards Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness and proper storage practices Bypass delays by proactively addressing issues with orders or kitchen operations Buss tables when needed to support overall restaurant efficiency and guest satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments is highly preferred Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Knowledge of food preparation, expediting techniques, and food safety standards Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems for order management is a plus Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Basic numeracy skills for handling order counts and transaction accuracy Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel food service is advantageous A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service Join us as a Cashier Expediter and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences!
