Job Title: Cashier/Customer Service Representative Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling sales transactions. You will operate cash registers, assist customers with product inquiries, and ensure the store maintains a welcoming environment. The position requires flexibility to work in cooler environments and perform shift duties as scheduled. A strong focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Duties: Operate cash registers accurately during retail sales transactions, including handling cash drawer operations. Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding store products to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring smooth and efficient transaction flow. Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure product availability and attractive presentation. Assist with merchandising tasks to enhance store layout and product visibility. Handle stock replenishment and inventory management as needed. Perform shift duties, including working in cooler environments when required. Uphold store policies by maintaining a phone-free environment during shifts. Support overall store operations by assisting team members with various tasks as needed. Skills: Proven experience in cash register operations and retail sales transactions. Strong knowledge of retail store products. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to work in cooler environments comfortably. Flexibility to perform shift duties, including evenings or weekends if required. Attention to detail and organizational skills for merchandising and stocking tasks. Ability to follow store policies, including maintaining a phone-free workspace during shifts.
