Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and quickly Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain stock levels on the sales floor through merchandising and stocking activities to ensure product availability Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support store merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring products are presented attractively Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product knowledge sharing Promote store promotions and special offers through effective communication and upselling techniques Ensure compliance with safety procedures and uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization Qualifications Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially with POS systems and cash register operations Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and balancing cash drawers accurately Knowledge of retail store product offerings and merchandising principles Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with phone etiquette, upselling techniques, and product demonstrations is desirable Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise, and perform stocking duties as needed We are reopening our store and need to fill this team.
