Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions and cash drawer management with precision. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining visual merchandising standards to ensure an inviting store environment. Handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing helpful information to customers. Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, product labeling, and inventory counts to keep the store well-stocked and organized. Skills Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems for smooth retail transactions. Strong communication skills for engaging with customers confidently and clearly. Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations is preferred. Experience in cashiering, retail math, cash handling, and cash drawer procedures ensures accuracy during transactions. Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication over the phone.
