Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, questions, and concerns to ensure a positive shopping experience Accurately process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments Maintain awareness of current promotions, discounts, and store policies to inform and assist customers effectively Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to promote efficiency Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism and patience Support inventory management by assisting with stock replenishment and product organization as needed Follow all safety procedures and security protocols to protect customers, staff, and company assets Experience Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers at shift end A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities to address customer needs effectively Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us in creating a vibrant shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
