Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service professional to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring customers leave satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including balancing registers at shift end Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising tasks Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support team members by supervising or mentoring new staff when needed Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued Familiarity with POS systems and basic math for transactions and sales calculations Proven customer service skills with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reporting Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus but not required Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous Join our team to deliver outstanding customer service while developing your retail sales expertise!
