Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement and upselling opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory counts to keep the sales floor fully stocked Handle cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment with precision and integrity Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or coordinating with team members Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions Previous supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, stocking shelves, and lifting moderate loads Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory A positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach to teamwork are essential Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your energy fuels our success!
